Thom has an imagination riddled with the vivid, the hilarious and the morose, but more often than not has no reasonable outlet for his eccentricities. I have become his mind-pen. It means I can draw again without worrying about how many marks out of ten it will get. Thom is philosophical, rational and brilliant, and far too nice to me.He is two years older, and very occasionally wiser than I, and likes to read and to think and to laugh. He is also a drinker of cider - but can take or leave tea. He eats everything.
